JACQUI CONCOLINO TO CONTINUE REPRESENTING MISSION INN RESORT ON LPGA TOUR

Howey-in-the-Hills, Fla. (June 4, 2015) – Mission Inn Resort & Club, the iconic Florida golf destination, and LPGA Tour professional Jacqui Concolino of nearby Orlando have renewed their endorsement agreement through the 2015 season.

Concolino, now in her fourth year on the LPGA Tour, will wear the Mission Inn Resort & Club logo on her hat and shirt. She also will return for several site appearances at the historic Florida resort, where she has played since her junior golf days.

“My career has taken me to any number of world-class golf resorts all over the world, and Mission Inn is among my favorites,” Concolino said. “I’ve never seen the courses in anything but great shape. The entire staff is very friendly and they genuinely make you feel at home from the moment you step on the property. And the Sunday Brunch is awesome!”

When she is home, Concolino continues to utilize Mission Inn’s two courses – El Campeón and Las Colinas – with their rolling hills and undulating greens, to help maintain her game and gear up for tour venues. That work has been paying off of late, as Concolino has seen her fortunes improve on tour, with recent strong finishes at the North Texas Shootout (T30), Kingsmill Championship (T20), and ShopRite Classic (T67).

“El Campeón helps me prepare for the elevation changes I face on the LPGA Tour,” said Concolino, who still is looking for her first victory. “Most courses in Florida just don’t have those characteristics; El Campeón is unique. Also, the greens have a lot of slope, and that helps prepare me visually. I can get my game ready for anywhere practicing here at Mission Inn.”
Concolino qualified for the LPGA Tour in her first attempt, after a career as a first-team All American at Vanderbilt University. She is a member of the board of directors of Fairways for Warriors, for which she serves as golf ambassador.
