Kingsmill Resort Hosts 2015 Inaugural Women’s Symposium
There’s more than just golf going on during the annual LPGA Kingsmill Championship, taking place May 11-17 at Kingsmill Resort, in Williamsburg, Virginia. This year, an inaugural women’s symposium takes place on Tuesday, May 12, to provide women of all ages with the tools needed to lead a healthy and rewarding lifestyle. The symposium is presented by Pepper Oaks Farm, makers of extra virgin olive oil, and features motivational speaker Donna Highfill, who will speak on The Power of Story and how the stories we tell ourselves can enhance our golf game, business and life.
The 2015 Women’s Symposium, is designed to improve the health of participants by addressing mind, body and fitness. Emceed by Deanna Alfredo, a golf and food-life stylist, one of the many highlights of the event is a cooking demonstration featuring Pepper Oaks Farm with three-time LPGA Tour Champion Beatriz Recari of Spain and Kingsmill Resort Chef Emily Woodruff.
Tickets are $60 plus tax, with proceeds benefiting the LPGA-USGA Girls Golf. Tickets include brunch, two single-day clubhouse tickets for use May 13-17, access to practice rounds, a 10% discount at the merchandise tent and pro-shop, and an exclusive gift package.
