Hole #17 at CordeValle Golf Club
Baird Forces Playoff with Kodak Eagle on No. 17 at Frys.com
Lunde Holds Two-Shot Lead with Two Holes to Go
Briny Baird chipped in for a Kodak eagle from 38 feet out of the greenside rough to force a playoff with Bryce Mulder during the final round of the Frys.com Open. Baird’s eagle was one of five recorded Sunday on Kodak Challenge hole No. 17. Playing from the forward tees for the second consecutive day, the par 4 No. 17 gave the pros plenty of scoring chances. Baird was the only pro to post a Kodak eagle during each of the final two rounds. Baird ultimately lost the playoff to Mulder.
Also posting Kodak eagles during the final round of the Frys.com Open were Fabian Gomez, David Hearn, Billy Horschel and Marc Leishman. Horschel had the easiest eagle on No. 17 Sunday after landing his tee shot to just over 8 feet.
Kodak Challenge leader Bill Lunde (-19) was cut Friday. He leads the Kodak Challenge by two strokes over Cameron Tringale with two holes to go. Tringale fell victim to the third round cut, and consequently did not have an opportunity to play Kodak hole Sunday.
The next Kodak Challenge hole, and the second-to-last of the 2011 season, is the par 4 No. 13 at the McGladrey Classic on October 13-16 in Sea Island, GA.
Kodak Challenge hole #17 at CordeValle Golf Club was the easiest hole at the Frys.com Open during Sunday’s final round, yielding 5 eagles, 39 birdies, 27 pars.

Sea Island, GA this week and No. 17 at the Children’s Miracle Network Classic next week.
Bill Lunde (-19) holds a two-shot lead over Cameron Tringale (-17). To catch up to Lunde, Tringale will need to post an eagle this week, or next. Lunde isn’t playing this week, so we’ll see.
