New Look Adams Golf Launches “Make Golf Easy” Initiative With Money-Back Guarantee

New Look Adams Golf Launches “Make Golf Easy” Initiative
With Money-Back Guarantee

PLANO, TEXAS, July 31, 2013 – Adams Golf, known for producing some of the game’s easiest to hit clubs for golfers at every level – notably hybrids and hybrid iron sets – is integrating the “Make Golf Easy” philosophy into every facet of the company’s business. Launching the effort in August, the company is offering a Money-Back Guarantee on the new Tight Lies fairway wood.

Adams is so confident that golfers will be exceptionally satisfied with the easy-to-hit performance of the Tight Lies fairway wood, purchasers can return the club to Adams for a full refund within 30 days of purchase if they are not fully satisfied. The offer begins on August 15, 2013 and runs through October 15, 2013. More information is available by visiting http://www.adamsgolf.com/tightliesguarantee or calling toll-free 1-800-709-6142.**

“This promotion celebrates a legendary club whose hallmark is making the game easier to play, and reflects the start of a new era for Adams, where interacting with our company will be simpler for golfers, vendors, retail partners and pro shops,” said John Ward, President of Adams Golf. “The entire industry will experience a new Adams that offers trouble-free purchase promotions, strategic expansion into international markets, an easy-going, fan-friendly Tour team, strategic business and marketing partnerships and a renewed commitment into our pursuit of product innovation – all with the mindset to ‘Make Golf Easy.’”

A New Era. A New Look.

This commitment demands a new logo, corporate colors and attitude. The brand’s primary mark now includes a script typeface “Adams” that will be seen on clubs, accessories and marketing assets. Added to the portfolio for the first time is a recognizable, standalone emblem. A script “A” features the design element of a golf club on the left leg, while the entire letter is surrounded by a two-stripe oval that represents the golf swing path.

For most of the company’s history the primary color palette has been red and black. Moving forward, blue (PANTONE 294) will become the primary color, with red (PANTONE 187) white, black and silver as complements.

“Our goal throughout was to find a design that has global appeal and reflects the new personality and positioning of the brand,” said Scott Blevins, Senior Vice President of Marketing. “We feel that this new look will help Adams become more recognizable around the world in a more consistent and contemporary manner. It’s a fun and friendly design that we think appeals to our broad customer base along with those who don’t yet know much about our company and products.”

Tour professionals have already begun sporting the new look on headwear and bags. The first product to feature the mark will be the new Tight Lies fairway wood, a technologically-advanced re-birth of the club that put Adams “on the map.”

Boccieri Golf’s Secret Grip Putter Grip Used by Winner of Midwest Classic

Boccieri Golf’s Secret Grip Putter Grip Used by Winner of Midwest Classic

Patented Design, Counterweight Technology Helps Golfers Achieve
Superior Consistency, Control on the Green

(SCOTTSDALE, AZ) – Boccieri Golf – maker of Tour-proven, backweighted equipment, such as the award-winning Heavy Putter – announces its new Secret Grip Putter Grip was trusted by the winner of the Web.com Tour’s Midwest Classic, contested at Nicklaus Golf Club at LionsGate in Overland Park, KS.

Capturing his second professional victory, the champion relied on the Jack Nicklaus-endorsed product ($24.99) to counterbalance his putter for improved stability, consistency and control on the greens. The grip’s heavier weight (155 grams) raises the putter’s balance point and forces players to use their larger, more stable muscles, resulting in a repeatable and reliable stroke.

“Early acclaim for the Secret Grip led this great young player to purchase it three weeks ago at The Bear’s Club and we see the immediate positive results” says Stephen Boccieri, President and CEO of Boccieri Golf. “We’ve preached the benefits of counterbalanced equipment for years, with increasing validation by Tour players showing its ability to maximize performance in all areas of the game.”

The putter version of the Secret Grip is easily installed on clubs from any manufacturer for an instant boost in performance. The added weight is achieved via a tungsten insert in the butt-end, combined with a rubber compound 40-percent heavier than what is used in standard grips. It features an oversized design, popular pistol shaping for comfort and an attractive black and green, two-tone color scheme.

Available alongside the full-swing Secret Grip, the putter version may be purchased at Dick’s Sporting Goods, Golf Galaxy and Edwin Watts, as well http://www.SecretGrip.com.

During Jack Nicklaus’ illustrious career, he won 73 PGA Tour titles, including a record 18 major championships, using counterweighted equipment. He currently appears in promotional material for the Secret Grip lines, along with famed teacher Rick Smith, who consistently ranks among the world’s top-10 instructors.

Recent testing of more than 3,000 players shows 95 percent strongly prefer the Secret Grip over traditional offerings. Beyond independent testing, the grips continue to receive praise from scores of leading media, including “Top Products from the PGA Show” honors from Golf Digest and GOLF Magazine.

The Secret Grip is the latest innovation from Boccieri Golf, pioneer of the popular Heavy Putter and critically acclaimed “Control Series” of full-swing clubs.

About Boccieri Golf

Founded in 2005 by Stephen Boccieri, the company’s popular Heavy Putter collection and Control Series line of full-swing products were the first to integrate counterweight principals. This unique approach to club design is proven to benefit golfers of all abilities, as strategically placed weight in the butt-end of the shaft produces a higher balance point for smoother, more repeatable swings from driver through putter. Boccieri Golf’s Secret Grip, endorsed by Jack Nicklaus, is its latest innovation.

The company is headquartered in a state-of-the-art Research and Performance Center at 15816 N. Greenway-Hayden Loop in Scottsdale, Arizona. The 9,000-square-foot facility offers golfers a variety of services, including custom club fitting, high-tech swing analysis and practice time on life-like simulators.

Storied Seaside Links Set to Host 16th Open Championship

(TRAVERSE CITY, MI) – Dancin’ Dogg Golf – maker of the award-winning OptiShot Infrared Simulator, the ultimate in-home virtual golf system – announces the release of Firth of Forth, a replication of the historic Scottish links course hosting its 16th Open Championship.

Firth of Forth’s first Open Championship was held in 1892, only one year after the original layout was constructed by the legendary Old Tom Morris. With its clockwise-routed front nine and counterclockwise back nine that result in constantly changing winds, Firth of Forth is ranked among the world’s top-10 courses by Golf Digest and GOLF Magazine.

“Once again OptiShot has faithfully re-created one of the most heralded golf courses on the planet, allowing everyone to play it without ever leaving home,” says Russell Edens, CEO of Dancin’ Dogg. “I can’t tell you how much fun it is to re-create the winning shots on OptiShot, right after they happen. It is like being inside the ropes without the jet lag.”

Alongside other major championship tracks – such as Atlanta Highlands, Capitol Club, Golden Gate Club, Jones Lake, Monterey Classic, Old Scot, Red Wickers and Whispering Dunes – Firth of Forth ($74.95) is available for download at http://www.optishotgolf.com. The entry-level OptiShot system (MSRP: $399.95) comes standard with 12 true-to-life designs, as well as a par-3 option and realistic driving range.

Connecting with Windows computers via a plug-and-play interface, OptiShot requires only 8-½ feet of swing space. Up to four players per round can compete by hitting real balls, foam balls (provided) or no ball at all. Infrared sensors on a durable swing pad precisely record club head speed, face angle, swing path, distance, tempo, face contact and ball flight.

Nike Golf Redefines Outerwear with Nike Hyperadapt Storm-FIT Jacket

Nike Golf Redefines Outerwear with Nike Hyperadapt Storm-FIT Jacket

-Nike Hyperadapt Storm-FIT Jacket combines increased range of athletic motion with waterproof protection-

BEAVERTON, Ore. (July 11, 2013) – Nike Golf supports athletes with products designed to take the sport of golf and their athletic abilities to new heights. The new Nike Hyperadapt Storm-FIT jacket gives athletes the comfort, mobility and protection against the elements that their sport demands.

Nike athlete Paul Casey experienced instant success with the new Nike jacket while winning the Irish Open in winds gusting up to 35 mph and heavy showers combined with sunshine. And now, at next week’s third major championship of the season, the Open Championship, where weather is known to be grueling and unpredictable, additional Nike athletes will wear the iconic jacket.

Combining flexibility and waterproof protection, the Hyperadapt Storm-FIT jacket is the only golf performance rain jacket of its kind. With sweater-like stretch and an impenetrable outer layer, this jacket combines the benefits of both without sacrificing performance.

Designers worked closely with Nike athletes, including Casey, to test and tweak the Hyperadapt jacket technology. Through comprehensive athlete feedback from on-course testing, Nike designers started the design process from the inside out, making critical adjustments along the way to perfect each detail.

“Inspired by our athletes who demand the best in performance, our team set to work to create a jacket built to change the way golfers feel in unfavorable weather conditions,” expressed Merritt Richardson, Nike Golf Vice President of Global Golf Apparel. “We are always working to minimize distractions. From reducing sound to enhancing stretch, the Hyperadapt Storm-FIT jacket is the ultimate in protection and performance.”

With no-sew technology throughout the inner layer, designers minimized chaffing and added a new stretch component to the garment. A 4-way stretch system added to the shoulders and arms maximizes mobility and eliminates restrictions during the swing. This woven, stretch knit laminate combination provides a quiet garment during the swing and a sweater-like feel for comfort and protection at every angle.

“Often, athletes will add a size to their rain jackets because they do not want to feel restricted by the fabric,” stated Richardson. “This leads to a distracting, oversized jacket that is not optimal for competitive play. The Hyperadapt jacket eliminates this issue by providing athletes the protection they need without sacrificing the performance benefits of a stretch pullover.”

Along with a comfortable fit and enhanced mobility, the Hyperadapt jacket is breathable and seam sealed for 100% waterproof protection. Adjustable cuffs offer a custom fit for increased protection and even less distraction giving athletes an advantage with every detail.
