    JAKARTA, Indonesia (7 January 2013)—Holiday-makers with a desire to walk the same fairways as their golfing heroes should target Indonesia in 2013, as the courses comprising Golf Wonderful Indonesia will host this year, or have recently hosted, the biggest tournaments and biggest names world golf has to offer.

    The primary attraction this year is the CIMB Niaga Indonesian Masters, scheduled for 2-5 May at Royale Jakarta Golf Club. Ernie Els and John Daly have already signed on to appear, complementing a full field of Asian Tour luminaries.

    The CIMB Niaga Indonesian Masters field—Els, Daly, 120 members of the Asian Tour and 20 more from the Professional Golfers Association of Indonesia—will vie for a purse of $750,000 USD. There will also be four invitations extended to top local amateurs.

    However, the organizers behind the CIMB Niaga Indonesian Masters have taken this “play where the pros play” dynamic to a whole new level in 2013. One tournament berth has been reserved for the champion of The Amateur League of the CIMB Niaga Indonesian Masters. This league, which runs from January to March 2013, affords amateurs the opportunity to play a minimum of three rounds at Royale Jakarta GC within the qualifying period. Their average scores will be entered into an Order of Merit, which will rank their position on the event website, http://www.indonesianmasters.com. The winner will earn a spot in the main event.

[NYSE: PVH] announced today new marketing partnerships for its IZOD brand with two PGA Tour players: two-time Tour winner Scott Piercy and fourth-year Tour pro Spencer Levin. As part of the agreements, Piercy and Levin will wear IZOD Golf apparel on course beginning in January 2013. They join reigning U.S. Open champion Webb Simpson as ambassadors on Team IZOD.
